McConnells site waste management plan services
From April 2008, all construction projects in England worth more than £300,000 must have a site waste management plan (SWMP). You, as the client, are responsible for producing the initial SWMP before construction work begins, appointing the principal contractor and passing the SWMP to the contractor, as well as updating the SWMP at least once every three months if you decide to manage the project yourself.
As part of the SWMP you will also need to consider WEEE compliance, and McConnells provides expert consultancy in this area.
McConnells assists clients in meeting legal obligations in the creation and execution of SWMPs, tackling the recycling and waste management issues that commonly arise with new construction projects.
If you require help with WEEE compliance as part of your SWMP process, feel free to contact us today for a no-obligation chat.
